Requirements

Board Certification in Emergency Medicine

Or

Completion of an accredited Residency training program and Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Practice or General Surgery with a minimum of 5,000 hours of documented ED experience.

And

Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS Certifications.

The Community

Chardon is located in Northeastern Ohio in Geauga County, which is approximately 25 miles east of Cleveland on the banks of the Chagrin River. Area recreation includes Alpine Valley Ski Resort, Headlands Beach State Park, Pioneer Waterland Wet and Dry Fun Park, the shores of Lake Erie and the East Branch Reservoir. Today, Chardon remains to many, a town rich in history and culture. Government offices and quaint shops surround Public Square where many activities and events are held throughout the year. Such events include the famous Maple Festival, Concerts-in-the-Park, Car shows, Art Festivals, and yearly Farmer’s Market.
